Peg Doll Introduction

I know it seems like a silly calling- believe me, I've waited for some pretty major callings in my life. But for some reason, creating these peg dolls has become a passion/obsession for me over the last 2 months. I guess it may be because I have been a full-time, stay at home mom for the last 5 years, and really put my creative side on hold. After 5 years of stifling my creative energies, they were so eager to come flooding out, and for some reason, they chose to explode all over these dolls! Now, I can't get enough. I love the small attention to detail, the challenge of painting the tiniest details, the fact that I can finish one doll without neglecting my children for too long (just a joke, they are never neglected....). I finally found something that is a fit for me, so I will keep creating these guys until I'm all pegged out! Thanks for checking out my blog- keep checking back, I will post new pegs daily! And PLEASE- tell me who you would like to see in PEG form! Be the first to comment and share this blog, and I will PEG you for free! I'll even send you the doll!

Also, please check out my Etsy shop: www.etsy.com/shop/abbyjac. All of the profits I make from the shop are donated to the Naropa Community Art Studio- International and their partnership with Transitions Global. Visit the NCAS-I blog at http://ncasi.wordpress.com and transitionsglobal.org for more information about their amazing contributions in the world.
